Each Intelligence host can connect encrypted Anthropic, DeepSeek, Kimi, OpenRouter, Perplexity Sonar, or xAI Grok API keys, select a model, and switch the active provider without exposing a stored secret. OpenRouter starts with Ox Alpha and accepts other catalog model IDs without a MyCal release.

DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Perplexity Sonar, and xAI Grok can combine current web search, structured company facts, and source links in one request, giving hosts more choices for capability, speed, and cost.
OpenRouter model flexibility
Use Ox Alpha as the recommended OpenRouter model or enter another provider/model ID from OpenRouter’s catalog. MyCal keeps the selected model visible, encrypts the API key, and preserves cited HTTPS sources with the cached company profile.
Kimi K3 structured research
Kimi support uses Moonshot’s OpenAI-compatible API, strict structured output, and Formula web search, with citations retained for host review.
Allowance-aware beta research
When shared beta research is active, each host receives five platform-funded uncached lookups. Requests billed to the host’s selected provider are tracked separately and do not consume that included allowance.
Choose when research runs
Automatically research every eligible company, only invitees absent from private Google or Microsoft contact matches and encrypted Calendly imports, or use manual research only. Cached profiles remain reusable without another AI lookup.
Host review and approval
AI-researched facts cannot grant longer meetings until the host reviews the company profile and approves a deterministic rule.
Company-aware meeting access
Approved rules can consider industry, employee count, or annual revenue when selecting eligible event types.

What information does MyCal use for AI meeting prep?
MyCal is designed to research the company domain associated with a verified work email. It does not need to send the guest’s full email address, contact list, booking answers, or private host notes to the research provider.
Can AI automatically give someone a longer meeting?
No. AI-researched facts require host review, and meeting access changes only when a separate host-approved rule matches sufficiently fresh and confident company data.
What appears in a company briefing?
A briefing can include a concise company summary, industry and scale context, useful conversation angles, and citations to public sources. The briefing remains private to the host.
How can I receive the briefing before a meeting?
Intelligence hosts can open the complete authenticated briefing from Meetings or opt into email and Telegram research-ready alerts, selectable advance reminders, last-minute alerts, and a morning digest. Notification previews contain only limited public-company context and a secure link; booking answers, invitee email, relationship levels, private notes, and the full cited brief stay inside the host workspace.
How does MyCal measure briefing quality?
The booking host can answer Yes or No to “Was this briefing helpful?” on the authenticated briefing page and change the answer later. Administrators see only aggregate provider, model, and response totals—not guest identities, briefing text, booking answers, or private notes.
Can I limit automatic company research to new contacts?
Yes. Each host can research all eligible companies, research only when the verified invitee is absent from that host’s private Google or Microsoft contact matches and encrypted Calendly imports, or turn off booking-triggered research and use the Companies page on demand. Cached research is reused without another AI lookup.
How many company lookups are included during beta?
When MyCal’s shared beta research provider is active, each beta host receives five platform-funded uncached company lookups. Failed requests and cached reuse do not consume the allowance. A host can connect an Anthropic, DeepSeek, Kimi, OpenRouter, Perplexity, or xAI key for separately tracked, host-funded research.
Can I correct or hide one company fact?
Yes. Each fact has its own source, confidence, and history. Pin a trusted value so a later approved refresh cannot replace it, or exclude the field from the profile, briefing inputs, and routing until you restore it.
Does MyCal guess whether a company is a customer?
No. Customer status must be explicitly entered by the host or attributed to a CRM/external source. AI research cannot assert customer status or activate a recommendation by itself.
Is automated company research available in the beta?
Host-reviewed company profiles and approved routing rules are available in the beta. The automatic research workflow is built and becomes active when a research provider is configured on the service.
